That One Thing

Settings

Notion

Create an internal integration at notion.so/my-integrations. Share the parent page (or each client page) with that integration, then paste the token here.

Ongoing mode: put forever items under a heading named Standing or Ongoing, or start the to-do with Ongoing: or ∞. They remind you; they won’t become the one thing or check off from the app.

After updating: Reload extension on chrome://extensions, then open a new tab. Confirm version 1.3.22 there.

Default timer

When time’s up

Soft bell when the timer hits zero. Chip also pulses and offers Restart.

Theme

Changes the whole app (home, Settings, week). Chip on websites stays Matrix green.

Accent color

Colors links, the timer ring, Settings section pills, and selected chips.

New tab art

Lower-left cutout on the home tab. Scales with the window. Hide anytime.

Show chip on websites

Chip on other pages

Hide from here anytime. Or tap × on the chip while browsing. Bring it back by picking a corner here.

Default is top right, off the compose box. Or grab the chip on any page and drop it where you want.

If you see two chips, open chrome://extensions and Remove every extra That One Thing Yo. Restart does not remove Load unpacked copies.

These can wait

When you land on one of these, you see your task instead. Two minutes is always available. Add or remove anytime. First install asks you to pick these. Revisit setup.

Capture

On Windows or Linux, that’s Ctrl+Shift+K. Works on the page you’re on.

This stays on this device. Notion is the only thing it talks to, and only if you connect it.
